We've been in Gulf Shores x3 days, & dined out for each supper. This was our fave seafood meal. We both couldn't finish our meals. The price was extremely fair for the seafood we ordered, and it was so dang good! The shrimp is incredible. So were the crab cakes! The 4 option build your own platter is definitely shareable!! Yes, the dinner is as big as the photos make it look. Mounds of food!!

Best shrimp fried and boiled. Best Cole slaw in the country. Make your own cocktail sauce at your table. Service was excellent

Shrimp were really good and I see why people rave about them. The do-it-yourself cocktail sauce was a fun addition. Plenty of interesting drinks on the menu along with a decent beer selection. Julia T was very attentive as well. Would not hesitate to return!

Our only regret to dining here was not finding Docs until our last 2 days on vacation. We decided to pop in for their “winter special” prime rib, which was really good, so we decided to come back for lunch the next day for their (supposedly) world’s best shrimp. And oh my... yea, it’s that good. At first we thought it was a bit pricey (for lunch) but it was worth every single penny. Hands down the best shrimp in the gulf shores/orange beach area and loads of food! Great service, great drinks...the meal was well worth the price and yes, we will be back!

I choose to go here for my birthday lunch, and loved every minute. They opened the large garage doors and allowed the fresh breeze to blow in. I'm very picky about the type steak and the Way it's prepared and cooked. They did a fantastic job with both. The atmosphere is just right. My sweet sever was Miaya, and was so attentive, accurate with my order and pleasant with each encounter. I'll remember and return here when in the Gulf Shores / Orange Beach area.

We were hesitant about this place when we saw they advertised having the best fried shrimp but had just gotten to town and were waiting to check in and just wanted somewhere to go. We shared some oysters on the half shell- shucked very well I will add and super fresh. Gumbo was not my favorite but decent; I am just very particular about my gumbo. My husband got the pick three with fried oysters, crab cakes and fried shrimp. I must admit their shrimp were some of the best we have had. The crab cake was excellent with a little kick to them! I ordered the softshell crab. It was probably some of the best cleaned I have had in a long time. They were a great size as well and definitely delicious. I think the batter on. The shrimp and crab was what helped make it all so good- light and not too thick! We were seated outside and it was quite warm as the fan near our table was not working. We were more than happy with our choice to eat there.

Had a couple of excellent dinners here during our recent trip. We found good value ordering off the Early Bird Specials menu. Excellent service and the kitchen is very fast. Food was fresh and well-prepared.

Absolutely Awesome! I know the the Original Oyster House clam the BEST gumbo but Doc’s has them beat. The fried shrimp was incredible and they were cooked perfect. We also had the Tuna Poke and it was also incredible. Service was over the top. Food came out quick and hot
